Gordon College CCS Techfest 2026 I. Details of the Event/Activity Our batch organized the GCCCS TechFest 2026 on May 09, 2026, at Gordon College and the Civic Center. The event was designed to promote innovation, collaboration, and the sharing of technical skills among students and technology enthusiasts. Various activities and competitions related to technology and digital creativity were conducted throughout the program. As a member of the Registration Committee, my responsibilities included assisting with participant registration, verifying attendee information, and organizing competitor records for categories such as Digital Art, Animation Design, E-Games, and Hackathon to ensure that the program proceeded smoothly. Details of the Event/Activity As part of our ITC414 course requirements, our team, NextGen, conducted a webinar entitled “Cyber Security: Protection of Computer Systems and Data from Digital Threats.” The event was held through Google Meet and livestreamed on Facebook to make it accessible to more participants. The guest speaker, Mr. Rannie Q. Dela Rea, shared valuable insights about current cybersecurity threats such as malware, phishing, and other online attacks. He also discussed practical ways to secure computer systems, networks, and sensitive information from these risks. The event showcased the company’s appreciation for its workforce after a year of hard work and achievements. This year’s theme, “ROAR,”  embodied energy, celebration, and unity—perfectly matched by the concert-style program. The event featured performances from well-loved artists, including the iconic OPM band Sponge Cola  and the popular P-pop girl group BINI , who served as the main act.
