The 1st Regional AI Seminar with the theme “Reinventing Learning Through AI” was held at Holy Angel University in Pampanga to educate students and professionals on the growing role of artificial intelligence in modern learning environments. The seminar aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of AI, its current applications, and the ways it is reshaping education and future career opportunities.

The speakers discussed essential topics such as AI-powered learning tools, digital transformation in education, responsible use of AI, and how emerging technologies influence both academic and professional development. II. Reflections the Seminar Gave Rise To (Learnings)

From this seminar, I learned that AI is not just a concept found in advanced technologies—it is now a part of our daily lives and is gradually becoming integrated into the way we study and work. I realized that AI has the potential to personalize learning, improve efficiency, and provide new opportunities for students to grow academically.

The seminar helped me understand the importance of being responsible and ethical when using AI tools. I learned that while AI can support us in research, writing, and problem-solving, it should not replace our critical thinking or creativity. I also became more aware of the rapid development of AI and the need to continually adapt and learn new digital skills.

Additionally, I can share what I learned with classmates and family members so they can also benefit from using AI responsibly and effectively.

The seminar was well-organized and very informative. The speakers presented their topics clearly and used examples that made AI easy to understand even for beginners. The visuals, demonstrations, and explanations helped participants stay engaged and encouraged active learning.

The organizers also provided enough time for questions, allowing attendees to clarify their concerns and gain deeper insights into AI. Overall, the seminar was inspiring and gave participants a better understanding of how AI is transforming education and how we can prepare for a technology-driven future.

Although the seminar was highly educational, it could be improved by adding short hands-on activities or demonstrations that allow participants to try AI tools themselves. Interactive activities such as mini workshops or live demonstrations would make the learning experience more engaging.

Providing handouts or digital materials summarizing the main points would also help participants review the topics after the seminar. Finally, inviting more resource speakers from different fields—such as technology industry experts or educators using AI in their classrooms—could provide a wider perspective on the impact of AI on learning and professional development.
