I. Details of the Event/Activity

Our batch organized the GCCCS TechFest 2026 on May 09, 2026, at Gordon College and the Civic Center. The event was designed to promote innovation, collaboration, and the sharing of technical skills among students and technology enthusiasts. Various activities and competitions related to technology and digital creativity were conducted throughout the program. As a member of the Registration Committee, my responsibilities included assisting with participant registration, verifying attendee information, and organizing competitor records for categories such as Digital Art, Animation Design, E-Games, and Hackathon to ensure that the program proceeded smoothly.

II.Reflections on the activity give rise to (learnings/key takeaways)

The TechFest helped me understand the growing importance of modern technologies in improving creativity, productivity, and collaboration within the tech industry. Aside from the technical knowledge shared during the event, my experience as part of the Registration Committee taught me the value of organization, teamwork, and accurate data management. I realized that handling participant information carefully is essential in maintaining a smooth flow of activities and ensuring that every participant is properly accommodated throughout the event.

III. Reflections of possibilities on implementing some of the activity input on a practical

level (practical application of learnings)

The lessons I gained from the TechFest can be applied in both technical and organizational settings. In terms of technology, I can use modern digital tools and smarter utilities to improve my projects, websites, and academic activities. On the organizational side, my experience in the Registration Committee taught me practical ways to manage large amounts of participant data more efficiently. In the future, I can apply these skills by utilizing automated systems and digital databases to help organize events and simplify registration processes in a more professional and effective manner.

IV. Positive Feedback (on the event organization)

The GCCCS TechFest 2026 was successfully carried out through the cooperation and hard work of the entire batch. The program was organized well, and the registration process was handled efficiently, allowing participants to join the different activities without major delays. The various competitions, including the Hackathon and E-Games tournament, were managed effectively, showing strong coordination among the committees. Overall, the event created an engaging and productive environment that encouraged learning, creativity, and participation.

V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/considered for future activities

Although the event achieved its objectives successfully, future TechFest activities could still be improved by implementing a centralized digital check-in or registration system to make participant management faster and more organized. It would also be beneficial to include live presentations or showcases of winning projects from the Hackathon and design competitions so participants can better appreciate the creativity and technical skills demonstrated during the event.
